The top half of the insert is a customized vinyl insert this portion of the sign stays the same so it has generic information only such the company logo, web address, phone number and the fact that they are “Now Hiring!”.  The bottom half of the insert has message board tracks for the interchangeable words, letters and numbers that can be utilized in any combination that you wish.  This was the perfect combination for Salisbury  Apartments needs,

The trick to getting you headed in the right direction to create your own pair directional sign inserts may actually seem a bit strange.

So you put together the design for your insert and you think I am going to be putting the sign right outside my store so both arrows should point to the left so everyone will see it and come in ….right?

Wrong! The secret to getting both arrows to point to in the same direction is to make the arrow on one insert point to the left and the arrow on the other insert point to the right. The reason for this is that the inserts on either sides of the sidewalk sign face opposite directions so if both arrows are printed pointing the same one side of the sign would be pointing people into your store and the other side would be sending them across the street. So to avoid sending mixed messages to your customers make sure both your arrows end up pointing them right to you.

The menu board was created out of hand rubbed reclaimed wood and pop-out logos and product images were added to the walls. Since this was part of a larger store and not out in the regular food court area we proposed a full color A-Frame Sign.

The idea was that this could be used out on the food court dinning floor near the storefront to draw in hungry students and expose them to a new product.

Note the graphic on the right hand side of the restaurant image that was bonded to a magnet for mounting to a refrigerator.  That same image a standard 22 by 28 POP (Point of Purchase) display was imaged to coroplast for the sample.  This snaps right into the On The Step A-Frame sign.

This is a great concept for malls and food courts where the message needs to be fresh and is easy to change.

The On The Step concept of changeable signs was incorporated into the menu board to as a custom product.  When adding new menu items this spring we added the new smoothy selections and a new menu board slid right in to replace the old one.
